DeBary Hall: Florida Fossils

Travel through time with Derek Demeter, director of the Emil Buehler Planetarium at Seminole State College. He will explore the geological timelines of Florida and the fossils found within them, including many examples for guests to see and touch. Outside of his role as an astronomer, Demeter is a SCUBA diver and fossil hunter.
This presentation is part of the Lemonade Lectures series. Light refreshments and lemonade will be served. Registration is not required.
DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd., DeBary, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s owned by the State of Florida and managed by Volusia County’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Division.
