St. Johns River Cleanup

FREE EVENT: The St. Johns River Cleanup is celebrating 30 years of community collaboration and environmental stewardship in 2026!
From 8–11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, help clean 59 miles of the beautiful St. Johns River — from Lake George to Puzzle Lake.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome, including boaters, scouts, schools, and community groups!

Preregistered volunteers receive a commemorative mug or plush eagle, and ReGrow Volusia will host a free native tree giveaway at select locations!
Volunteer sites include:
• Nine Mile Point Park
• Shell Harbor Park
• De Leon Springs State Park
• Ed Stone Park
• Lake Beresford Park
• Gemini Springs Park
• Lake Monroe Park
• Lemon Bluff Boat Ramp
(Participating elsewhere along the river? Contact the nearest listed site to report collected trash.)

Be sure to bring water and wear sun protection, insect repellent, gloves, and comfortable clothing. Tools like rakes, shovels, trash grabbers — and boats or canoes — are welcome!
Last year, 440 volunteers removed 4,365 pounds of trash. Let’s make the 30th anniversary the biggest impact yet!
