The 2026 Lyonia Environmental Center Wildlife Festival will be here before you know it, and we want to make it the best one yet!
This annual event is a fun, FREE event for everyone and anyone interested in nature, with opportunities to get up close and personal with birds, gators, snakes, and a whole lot more. No registration is required.
What can you expect?
A lively presentation by Gatorland Orlando. This is always a hit with people of all ages and includes live gators, snakes, scorpions and more.
The Marine Science Center will have live birds of prey including hawks and owls for you to visit with.
The MSC will do a presentation but will also have a booth you can visit throughout the day.
Guided hikes throughout the day, including the 9:00 AM Earlybird Hike.
Eco-buggy rides throughout the day. This is a whole new way to see the Preserve and is especially great for our visitors who are unable to hike or walk long distances on the sugar sand trails.
