Esports Youth Tournament at The Rec

Esports: What is it? Esports (also known as electronic sports, e-sports, or eSports) is a form of sport competition using video games. Esports often takes the form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions, particularly between professional players, individually or as teams. Parks and Recreation is starting an Esports program for a few reasons, but the biggest reason is INCLUSION. Esports tournaments and leagues provide new opportunities to our community, which will bring participants together in a fun, save and learning environment.
ESPORTS TOURNAMENT!! 12 players max. Playing Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo Switch. Pool play and elimination tournament style. $10 per REC Member and $15 per Non-Member 1-4pm on July 12th at The Port Orange REC. Prizes for 1st-3rd place Snacks provided. Please inform staff of any food allergies. Parents drop off and pick up later or can stay in our parents' lounge. When picking up a kid you must have a valid ID and be on the Child Pick Up Form that was filled out. All refunds must be requested 24hrs before the event date. For any questions please call.
