Join Tyler Lovell, a participant in the Florida Master Naturalist Freshwater Systems course, for a BioBlitz at the large wetland on Saturday and Sunday! Participants will work together to explore the wetland wildlife and plants, dip net, and document as many species as possible. This hands-on community science event is a fun way to learn about wetland biodiversity and help support conservation efforts. You don’t need to be an expert! Whether it’s birds, bugs, mammals, fungi, amphibians, or anything else, we can work together and use the iNaturalist app to identify and document what we find. We’d love everyone to participate both days, but understand if you can only participate in one.
