National Night Out DeLand

The DeLand Police Department is excited to announce the upcoming National Night Out event, taking place on October 1, 2024, at Earl Brown Park.
This year’s theme will be “Let’s Glow Together,” and we are inviting the entire community to come together and shine bright with us from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. We encourage everyone to wear their brightest neon colors or glow-in-the-dark accessories to add to the festive atmosphere.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer places to live.
"National Night Out is an important event for our agency as it allows us to build positive relationships with our residents,” said Chief Jason Umberger. We believe strong partnerships between law enforcement and the community are crucial in creating a safe community.”
NNO 2024 will feature various activities for all ages, including live music, food, games, a demonstration by our K-9 Unit and vehicle displays by the DeLand Fire Department and Public Works.
