Celebrate freedom, honor our heroes and create memories at the Pre-Fourth of July Freedom Festival!
Join us for Freedom Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, on . Activities will kick off with a veteran’s ceremony at 10 a.m., followed by family-friendly games, live music, food trucks and beverage vendors. Veterans with ID will receive free meals, while supplies last, as a token of our gratitude for their service. The pre-Fourth of July festivities are sponsored by Zone 4 City Commissioner Stacy Cantu, Riverfront Esplanade, Humana, Main Street Merchants and the Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 316 and other veteran chapters. The Freedom Festival replaces the city’s traditional Fourth of July parade on Main Street.
