Attention all Veterans and Families!
Join us for the Veterans Stand Down event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 19 and 20 at the Volusia County Fairgrounds, located at 3150 E. New York Ave., DeLand. Veterans and their families are invited to attend and take advantage of complimentary services including haircuts, clothing, and lunch. Representatives from various agencies will be present to discuss veterans benefits, career and education opportunities, resources for homeless veterans, and healthcare options. Each day, Bull & Boar BBQ Supply Co. will be providing a free lunch, and Farm Share, a nonprofit food bank, will be distributing boxes of food. We look forward to seeing you there!
