EDGEfest Earth Day Festival

The City of Edgewater, is hosting the EDGEfest Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hawks Park (1108 South Ridgewood Avenue).
The festivities will include a free tree and seed giveaway (on a first come, first served basis while supplies last), visiting the Butterfly Garden, nature inspired arts and crafts, live music, vendors and food as well as fun activities and games.
The list of free trees include Sycamore, Sweetbay Magnolia, Red Maple and Oak. The free seeds are Perennial Asclepias Incarnata Swamp Milkweed Flower Seeds.
The goal is to increase environmental awareness and encourage attendees to participate in programs and activities that will deepen their understanding of environmental protection and the need to create a healthy and safe environment.
The City of Edgewater is recognized as both a Tree City USA for 8 years and Monarch City USA for one year beginning in 2024.
