MOAS Night Sky Festival | Friday, March 29 | 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Celebrate the wonders of the night sky at Florida’s most exciting star party! Join us at MOAS for the Night Sky Festival and at Embry-Riddle Observatories #Astronomy Open House Friday, March 29. The events run concurrently, so you're able to experience the best of the night sky from both locations!
MOAS 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. At the Night Sky Festival, enjoy a hands-on experience as you peer through a wide variety of telescopes at the MOAS front entrance courtyard. The winter sky is in full view as we observe the nearly Full Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, the Pleiades, the Orion Nebula, and much more.
Parking is limited. Planetarium shows have limited seating and are first-come, first-served. The outdoor portion is free to the public and is weather permitting. Planetarium shows are free for members, $7.00 for non-members and $5.00 for children 17 and under.

Embry-Riddle 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Enjoy an Astronomy Talk with guest speaker Dr. Peter Hoffman as he guides us through "Life on Earth and in the Universe" in the Willie Miller Auditorium.
Embry-Riddle 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. Join Embry-Riddle Observatories for Night Sky Observations, telescope tours, astronomy presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and the opportunity to see the largest publicly accessible telescope in the southeastern United States.
*Telescope dome tour tickets will be available outside the Willie Miller Instructional Center Auditorium between 6:30pm-7:00pm, before the public talk, and afterwards, remaining tickets will be available on the 2nd floor of the College of Arts and Sciences located at 1 Aerospace Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. https://observatory.db.erau.edu/
