The Museum of Arts & Sciences MOAS in Daytona Beach is hosting a series of exciting astronomy-themed events. The night kicks off with a live taping of ”Are We There Yet? Podcast”, where space reporter Brendan Byrne will explore the world of telescopes and their role in space exploration from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Are We There Yet? Podcast
Following that, the MOAS Night Sky Festival takes place from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Join MOAS and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Daytona Beach Campus for Florida’s most exciting star party - Friday, March 28 | 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, sponsored by FPL. This stellar event takes place at two nearby locations, showcasing a partnership between the area’s top astronomy and space education facilities: the #ERAU Observatory and the #MOAS Lohman Planetarium.

Enjoy access to extended MOAS Twilight Hours and explore the museum after dark. Admission available on-site through guest relations.
The outdoor portion of the MOAS Night Sky Festival is free and is weather permitting. Parking is limited. Lohman Planetarium shows are free for members, $7.00 per show for non-members, $5.00 for children 17 and under. Parking is limited.
Make sure to also include a trip to the nearby ERAU campus for their Astronomy Open House where you will find telescope tours, astronomy presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and have an opportunity to look through one of the largest publicly accessible telescopes in the southeastern United States.
