Family Literacy Night

Help your kids improve their reading skills at the free Family Literacy Night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Midtown Cultural & Educational Center. Local organizations including Volusia County School Child Find, Bethune Nutrition Literacy and the Volusia County Library will distribute various materials and resources. Local community leaders will read portions of books starting at 6:20 p.m. and include:
• Judge Joan Anthony
• Attorney James Smith
• Rakita Drummond, Calvary Christian Academy music teacher
