Volusia County Library Student Volunteer Program

Contact your local library for student volunteer positions. Students can earn community service hours while gaining new skills and fulfilling school or scholarship requirements. Applicants must be age 16 or older and must be enrolled in high school or equivalent.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends. Many of the volunteers work in bookstores and periodic book sales, shelve returned materials, and make telephone calls to patrons who reserved items ready for pickup.
