Marine Discovery Center Family Programs

Sea Squirts & Little Lagoonys | Ages 3-6
The Sea Squirts & Little Lagoonys programs introduce marine life to our youngest adventurers and an accompanying adult. Activities may include examinations of species both skeletal and alive, arts and crafts, stories, audio visual presentations, and games.

Parents Night Out | Ages 5-12
Kids can explore MDC after hours! Activities for Parents Night Out vary seasonally but may include arts and crafts, games, exploration, movies, snacks and more! Programs are on select Saturdays from 6-9 pm during the school year, and each date has a special seasonal theme!

Saturdays on the Marsh | All Ages
Learn how to bring fun & sustainable conservation practices into your own home! These workshops are suitable for all age groups and are geared toward families/households.

Sense of Adventure | All Ages
Our sensory program highlights each of the five senses with a hands-on, feet-wet twist! While this program is tailored to people with disabilities and sensory sensitivities, sensory play and exploration is critical to development for all ages and abilities. This program is offered 2:30-3:30 pm on a Saturday each month during the school year. Open to all ages! Cost is FREE but registration is required.
