City of Deltona Child Car Seat Safety Program

Certified technicians are available by appointment every day to make sure that your child seat is safely installed.

We want to make sure your child's car seat is installed properly. Our Child Passenger Safety technicians are certified through the National Child Passenger Safety Certification Program and put their knowledge to work by conducting child safety seat checks while providing parents and caregivers with an educational session. You'll be given hands-on assistance for proper installation of the seat, use of child restraint systems and safety belts.

During our safety inspection we inspect for:
Proper sizing of seat and restraints
Recalls
Defects and age of seat
Proper installation of the seat
