Homeschool Art Class, age 11 -18
Application / portfolio submission required.

This class is for gifted and talented homeschooled students, age 11-18.
Beginning with drawing, students study composition, dynamic and sensitive mark-making, light, proportion, perspective, and creative content. Instruction is individualized; projects are comensurate with the skill level of the student. Acrylic painting is introduced to individuals after they demonstrate a medium level of drawing proficiency.

Drawing and Painting, age 11-18
This class is for serious students who wish to improve profeciency while working independently in charcoal, pastel, graphite, pen & ink/watercolor, etc. Composition, dynamic and sensitive mark-
making, light, proportion, perspective, and creative content are all emphasized comensurate with the level of the student.

Weekly Drawing, age 6-11
This weekly 2-hour class is for younger students who demonstrate a propensity for drawing and mark making. Profeciency is developed through participation in weekly "draw alongs" with the instructor, followed by independent free draw time.

Color & Creative Design / Younger Kids, age 6-10,
​Students will complete several fun projects in drawing, painting, and 3D mixed media. This course is designed as an introduction to formal art instruction for the younger student. Creativity is encouraged while children develop a sense of design, balance, and color. Recommended for all beginning students. Students may repeat this class as desired for reinforced knowledge. Activities are varied to avoid redundancy.
