Operating from the Highbanks Marina and Camp Resort. Offering nature and history boat tours daily, exploring the river, observing the wildlife, and experiencing a section of the St. Johns that is little changed from the days when early explorers visited these enchanting waters.
SMALL BOAT Photo Tours
Our small boat is a 20-foot pontoon boat with a Bimini cover and a head. It is more intimate and affords the photographer to be able to go into places other boats can't get in to. Get up close and personal with nature with one of our USCG licensed captain today.
History Tours
2 Hour Tour
We offer a two hour survey history tour that touches on the original indigenous people, the incursion of the European explorers and the annihilation of the original inhabitants of the area. We also discuss the settlement of the area and the timber, agriculture and development in the 18th and 19th century.
All Day Excursion
We also offer an all day excursion that begins at DeBary Hall national historic site with a 3 screened film of a trip on a steamboat up the St. John’s River in the 1870 and ends at DeBary Hall with a tour of the mansion and grounds. We include lunch and then a two hour nature and history tour on the St. John’s River aboard the motor vessel Naiad.
