Sunrise Park North is set on the Halifax River and offers pavilions, and a pavilion over the water.
There is a 1.5 mile walking path around the park with an outdoor fitness court. Sunrise Park North also features a playground and restroom facilities.

There is a pedestrian bridge that connects Sunrise Parks North and South.
