

This is a historical park that includes a lake and is a sanctuary for migratory waterfowl. There is a paved walking trail and a covered pier area.
Samuel Butts Youth Archeological Park is named after Daytona Beach resident Samuel Butts, who collected prehistoric bones of humans and animals at the site for 20 years. He found spear joints, bone tools and pottery fragments left by Native Americans more than 5,000 years ago.
