Bill Dreggors Park and Freedom Playground

A historic site offering a self-guided tour of the Sensory Butterfly Garden developed by The DeLand Garden Club. Created for the visually and physically challenged, selected plants offer easily sensed characteristics such as scent, color, texture, taste and touch. There is also a 7/16 mile loop paved walking/jogging path and playground.

Freedom playground has four picnic pavilions with charcoal grills. Restroom facilities are available on site. Please call 386-626-7280 for current pavilion rental rates and availability.
