Near shore fishing, sometimes called beach fishing, is an excellent experience for a first timer or an old pro. Fishing within a mile of the beach, anglers can target tarpon, cobia, king fish, sharks, and many other species. As New Smyrna Beach is the Shark Bite Capital of the World, shark fishing here is always a fun time. Trips out to near shore reefs and fishing behind shrimp boats will offer an angler a wide variety of fish to catch.

Eco-tours

A day on the inshore waters surrounding Daytona Beach and New Smyrna Beach offers more than great fishing. There’s an abundance of wildlife and natural beauty to be experienced. Close encounters with numerous species of wading birds, manatees, and dolphins are common. Captain Mike will guide you on an eco-tour to experience the Mosquito Lagoon’s natural beauty from the water.
