Weeki Wachee Springs and Buccaneer Bay

Open 365 days a year, Weeki Wachee Springs is a true piece of tantalizing Americana that will leave you breathless. More so, it's the only place in the world where you can see real live mermaids swimming and performing right before your eyes! We invite you to come and experience for yourself the fun and spectacular natural Florida splendor that has been amazing visitors since 1947. And don't forget your camera!

Buccaneer Bay is Florida's only spring fed waterpark. Enjoy our white sandy beach, thrilling flume rides, beach volleyball, Lil' Mates Cove and much more!! The water slides, kiddie pool, and lazy river open weekends only in late spring.

The swimming area at Buccaneer Bay is open is open daily from 9am to 5:30pm. The slides are generally open weekends from March to early June, daily from June-August, and weekends through September. To verify operating hours for the water-slides, contact the park in advance. Our beach and swimming area are open 365 days a year.

Mermaid shows are offered at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served. Theater doors open 30 minutes before show time. Once the theater is full, the doors will close. To ensure the safety of our performers, mermaid shows are subject to cancelation based on inclement weather. The Ranger Experience is offered daily at 10 a.m., noon and 2:15 p.m. The Wilderness River Cruise runs between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served.

We are unable to issue refunds or return tickets for any cancellations due to weather.

PLEASE NOTE: Spring and summer are busy seasons for Weeki Wachee Springs. Please plan to arrive early. On weekends and during the summer the park reaches capacity quickly. Guests will be turned away when the park is full. Guests will be admitted later in the day, when there is space. Cooler size is limited to 45 quarts.
