Early Childhood Development Center of First Baptist Church

The Early Childhood Development Center of First Baptist Church in DeLand, Florida is for children eight weeks of age through pre-school. We promote the mental, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development of children. The Center aims to enrich the life of each child so that he or she may experience the best and happiest moments of their early childhood years.

We believe that education is a life long process. However, eighty percent of a person's lifetime learning takes place in the first six years of their lives. Therefore, parents and early childhood teachers have an important responsibility. They must work together to make sure that the children in their care develop into happy, healthy independent individuals.
