Wood Chess Summer Camps

Our camps in Deland and Ormond Beach last one week. They involve general instruction, group chess with large pieces and bughouse play. Many rewards, medals and trophies are given out during the camp. It is possible to enroll in the Friday tournament without attending the camp. Those that attend the camp are already enrolled in the tournament and are expected to attend. The camp is set up to have a minimum of ten students and a maximum of twenty students. Students are free to bring snacks and drinks. A water bottle is suggested so campers stay hydrated.
