This is a great camp for beginners to learn chess through the individualized instruction of a teacher who is a National USCF Coach with published chess books and material. Learn how to play group chess games such as bughouse and jumbo chess. Each camp has a certified chess tournament at the end where students get national ratings and trophies. The two certified instructors work with each student at their own skill level. It is a fun atmosphere where students play to learn, not always to win.
Each session includes a certified USCF tournament with trophies for awards. The cost of the annual USCF membership and the tournament fee are included in the camp price These camps are open to all students 2-9.
