Kidds are First, Inc.

Kidds Are First Inc. (KRF) was founded in 2002 by a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) volunteer who saw a great need for kids in the foster care system lacking basic essentials. The original purpose was to assist children referred exclusively by GAL volunteers of the 7th circuit, but the demand for KRF services quickly grew. Under the guidance of the newly elected Executive Director, in 2010 KRF launched a one of a kind free clothing store, K-R-Fashions.

This platform enabled KRF to reach thousands of kids and families in need. Today over 30 child related social service agencies in Volusia County take advantage of this service.

In 2018 K-R-Fashions celebrated its 8 year anniversary by moving into a new state of the art facility, doubling in size and exposure.

From the conception through the present time KRF remains a 100% volunteer based organization, supported by local organizations, businesses and families.
K-R-Fashions mission is to provide a personalized and fun shopping experience for free, while imparting hope and love to the foster, orphaned and underprivileged children of the community.
