As a City of Ormond Beach facility, the Environmental Discovery Center serves as a learning hub for the community. Located within Ormond Beach's Central Park system, the EDC fosters nature awareness & appreciation.
On May 21, 2016, the City of Ormond Beach hosted the EDC's Grand Opening. Since then, the EDC has hosted several program series, field trips, summer camps, and special events throughout the year.
The Environmental Discovery Center provides stimulating environmental education opportunities and promotes environmental stewardship at a local level.
Entry to the facility is FREE and open to the public. The center operates Tuesday-Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm. The building is designed to be self-guided. To schedule field trips or tours for larger groups, please call.
