  />The Volusia County Explore Volusia program invites you to join Environme
 ntal Specialist Tommy Nordmann for a night-time paddle through Mosquito Lag
 oon to explore the beauty of bioluminescence. We’ll discover what these tin
 y organisms are and what makes them glow.<br /><br />**Important note: Plea
 se arrive 30 minutes prior to complete a waiver and organize your gear. Wai
 vers must be completed in full to participate in the program.<br /><br />AC
 TIVITY: Easy to moderate night-time paddling trip. Difficulty due to curren
 ts and wind.<br /><br />RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmat
 ion email, your are not registered.<br /><br />TICKETS: No printed ticket i
 s necessary.<br /><br />AGES: Ages 10 and up are welcome. Children must be 
 accompanied by an adult.<br /><br />ATTIRE: Wear closed-toe shoes that can 
 get wet and clothing appropriate for a summer evening on the water. Pants a
 nd long sleeves are highly recommended due to biting insects.<br /><br />WH
 AT TO BRING: Watercraft (kayak, canoe or SUP), paddle, personal flotation d
 evice (must be worn while paddling), whistle, electric white light (flashli
 ght, lantern, headlamp) water to drink, bug spray<br /><br />** Six sit-on-
 top kayaks (plus gear) are available at no cost. To reserve one for the tou
 r, please register for one in the "add-ons" section under "tickets." You mu
 st have a general admission ticket for every kayak you reserve. First come,
  first serve!<br /><br />FACILITIES: There are bathroom facilities on site.
