SUMMARY:Daytona Beach International Festival
LOCATION:355 N Beach St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, United States
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Daytona Beach International Festival is a vibrant, family-friendly cele
bration designed to introduce children and families to the cultures of the
world—all in one exciting, interactive setting. Taking place May 16–17, 202
6, this free community event brings together more than 30 nations through m
usic, dance, food, art, and hands-on educational experiences created especi
ally for young learners.\n\nAt the heart of the festival is the Cultural Pa
ssport, a unique and engaging activity that turns every child into a global
explorer. Upon arrival, children receive a printed “passport” that guides
them on a journey across the festival grounds. Each country booth represent
s a different nation and offers an opportunity to learn something new—wheth
er it’s a traditional greeting, a fun fact, a cultural custom, or a simple
phrase in another language.\n\nAs children visit each country, they collect
stamps in their passport, just like traveling around the world. This simpl
e but powerful concept encourages curiosity, exploration, and interaction.
Instead of just watching from the sidelines, kids actively participate—aski
ng questions, meeting cultural representatives, and discovering the richnes
s of global traditions firsthand.\n\nThe Cultural Passport is designed to a
lign with early educational goals by promoting geography awareness, cultura
l appreciation, and social engagement. Teachers and parents often use it as
a springboard for deeper conversations about the world, helping children u
nderstand both the differences and commonalities that connect us all. For m
any children, it’s their first “trip around the world,” sparking an interes
t in global learning that can last a lifetime.\n\nTo make the experience ev
en more exciting, children who complete their passports by visiting multipl
e countries can check in at the Passport Station, where their participation
is recognized. As part of this initiative, participating students may subm
it their completed passports on behalf of their classroom. The classroom wi
th the highest level of participation will be awarded a $100 certificate an
d a pizza party, celebrating their enthusiasm, teamwork, and global curiosi
ty.\n\nBeyond the Cultural Passport, the festival offers a full day of fami
ly fun. Live performances showcase traditional and modern music and dance f
rom around the world, creating a dynamic and colorful stage experience. Int
eractive art activities, including a community mural project, invite childr
en to express themselves creatively while contributing to a shared work of
art. Additional attractions such as water slides, demonstrations from local
first responders, and hands-on exhibits ensure there is something for ever
y age group.\n\nWhat makes the Daytona Beach International Festival truly s
pecial is its focus on education through experience. Children are not just
entertained—they are engaged, inspired, and empowered to see the world from
new perspectives. By walking from booth to booth, collecting stamps, and m
eeting people from different backgrounds, they gain a deeper understanding
of what it means to be part of a global community.\n\nThe Cultural Passport
transforms the festival into more than just an event—it becomes a journey.
A journey where every stamp tells a story, every interaction builds unders
tanding, and every child leaves with a broader view of the world.\n\nFamili
es are invited to come explore, learn, and celebrate together in an environ
ment that is welcoming, inclusive, and full of discovery. The world is wait
 ing—no plane ticket required.\n\n \n\n
