  Explore Volusia program invites you to join Environmental Specialist Tommy
  Nordmann on a paddle through the mangroves near Strickland Bay. Along the 
 way, we'll discover native wading birds, raptors, songbirds, and shorebirds
 <br /><br />**Important note: Please arrive 30 minutes prior to organize ge
 ar and complete a waiver. Waivers must be completed in full to participate 
 in the program. You can download and complete a waiver ahead of time by vis
 iting Explore Volusia.<br /><br />** Some map apps and GPS devices will tak

 ITY: A 2.5-hour moderate paddling trip. Difficulty will depend on wind and 
 currents.<br /><br />RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation
  email, your are not registered.<br /><br />TICKETS: No printed ticket is n
 ecessary.<br /><br />AGES: Ages 10 and up are welcome. Children must be acc
 ompanied by an adult.<br /><br />ATTIRE: Wear appropriate clothing for the 
 outdoors and closed-toe shoes that can get wet.<br /><br />WHAT TO BRING: W
 atercraft (kayak, canoe, or SUP), personal flotation device (must be worn w
 hile paddling), emergency whistle, water to drink, sunscreen, and bug spray
 <br /><br />** Five, single sit-on-top kayaks (plus gear) are available at 
 no cost. You can reserve one in the "add-ons" section under "tickets." You 
 must have a general admission ticket for each person reserving a kayak. Fir
 st come, first served!<br /><br />FACILITIES: There are bathroom facilities
