SUMMARY:Daytona Beach International Festival
LOCATION:355 N Beach St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, United States
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Daytona Beach International Festival is a vibrant, family-friendly cele
bration designed to introduce children and families to the cultures of the
world—all in one exciting, interactive setting. Taking place May 16–17, 202
6, this free community event brings together more than 30 nations through m
usic, dance, food, art, and hands-on educational experiences created especi
ally for young learners.

At the heart of the festival is the Cul
tural Passport, a unique and engaging activity that turns every child into
a global explorer. Upon arrival, children receive a printed “passport” that
guides them on a journey across the festival grounds. Each country booth r
epresents a different nation and offers an opportunity to learn something n
ew—whether it’s a traditional greeting, a fun fact, a cultural custom, or a
 simple phrase in another language.

As children visit each count
ry, they collect stamps in their passport, just like traveling around the w
orld. This simple but powerful concept encourages curiosity, exploration, a
nd interaction. Instead of just watching from the sidelines, kids actively
participate—asking questions, meeting cultural representatives, and discove
ring the richness of global traditions firsthand.

The Cultural P
assport is designed to align with early educational goals by promoting geog
raphy awareness, cultural appreciation, and social engagement. Teachers and
parents often use it as a springboard for deeper conversations about the w
orld, helping children understand both the differences and commonalities th
at connect us all. For many children, it’s their first “trip around the wor
ld,” sparking an interest in global learning that can last a lifetime.

To make the experience even more exciting, children who complete the
ir passports by visiting multiple countries can check in at the Passport St
ation, where their participation is recognized. As part of this initiative,
participating students may submit their completed passports on behalf of t
heir classroom. The classroom with the highest level of participation will
be awarded a $100 certificate and a pizza party, celebrating their enthusia
sm, teamwork, and global curiosity.

Beyond the Cultural Passport
, the festival offers a full day of family fun. Live performances showcase
traditional and modern music and dance from around the world, creating a dy
namic and colorful stage experience. Interactive art activities, including
a community mural project, invite children to express themselves creatively
while contributing to a shared work of art. Additional attractions such as
water slides, demonstrations from local first responders, and hands-on exh
ibits ensure there is something for every age group.

What makes
the Daytona Beach International Festival truly special is its focus on educ
ation through experience. Children are not just entertained—they are engage
d, inspired, and empowered to see the world from new perspectives. By walki
ng from booth to booth, collecting stamps, and meeting people from differen
t backgrounds, they gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be part
 of a global community.

The Cultural Passport transforms the fes
tival into more than just an event—it becomes a journey. A journey where ev
ery stamp tells a story, every interaction builds understanding, and every
child leaves with a broader view of the world.

Families are invi
ted to come explore, learn, and celebrate together in an environment that i
s welcoming, inclusive, and full of discovery. The world is waiting—no plan
e ticket required.
