 eachers, principals, staff and families whose efforts helped the school dis
 trict earn an overall “A” from the Florida Department of Education.<br />Da
 ytona Beach schools played a key role in the district’s achievement. Mainla
 nd and Seabreeze high schools both received “A” ratings, with Mainland earn
 ing the distinction for the first time in its history. Beachside Elementary
  also celebrated its first “A” rating since the merger of Ortona and Osceol
 a elementary schools.<br /><br />The event will bring the community togethe
 r to celebrate academic excellence and inspire continued success in the cla
 ssroom.<br />“These results are more than grades. They are proof of hard wo
 rk, growth, and the belief that great schools build great communities,” Hen
 ry said. “As an educator and a proud graduate of our local schools, I want 
 our students and teachers to know that their achievements matter. This para
 de is our way of showing them the whole city is cheering them on.”<br /><br
  />All public elementary, middle and high schools in Daytona Beach are invi
 ted to participate, as well as businesses and community organizations. Scho
 ols are encouraged to showcase their spirit with marching bands, floats, ch
