  on tour for the safety of the birds.\nThis is a guided hiking tour where w
 e will trek through just about 0.25 miles of scrub to look for our iconic F
 lorida Scrub Jay. The ranger will educate the visitors on Florida scrub hab
 itat and the Florida Scrub Jay. They will discuss the bird's appearance, li
 festyle, behavior, importance to the scrub, and threats. At the end, the ra
 nger will tell visitors what they can do to help Florida Scrub Jays.\nVisit
 ors should be prepared with water, sunscreen, bug spray, and closed-toe sho
 es. Most of the hike is on soft sand.\nVisitors will let the Ranger Station
  know they are here for the JayWalk. The ranger will direct visitors to tur
 n down the dirt road just past the Ranger Station. Visitors will park in a 
 convenient location not blocking any work vehicles. Binoculars are not requ
 ired, but highly recommended.\n\nThis event if free with Park admission.\nV
 isitors should make sure to arrive early to account for traffic and to ensu
