 owed on tour for the safety of the birds.<br />This is a guided hiking tour
  where we will trek through just about 0.25 miles of scrub to look for our 
 iconic Florida Scrub Jay. The ranger will educate the visitors on Florida s
 crub habitat and the Florida Scrub Jay. They will discuss the bird's appear
 ance, lifestyle, behavior, importance to the scrub, and threats. At the end
 , the ranger will tell visitors what they can do to help Florida Scrub Jays
 .<br />Visitors should be prepared with water, sunscreen, bug spray, and cl
 osed-toe shoes. Most of the hike is on soft sand.<br />Visitors will let th
 e Ranger Station know they are here for the JayWalk. The ranger will direct
  visitors to turn down the dirt road just past the Ranger Station. Visitors
  will park in a convenient location not blocking any work vehicles. Binocul
 ars are not required, but highly recommended.<br /><br />This event if free
  with Park admission.<br />Visitors should make sure to arrive early to acc
 ount for traffic and to ensure they get into the park before any potential
