The Florida Women's Arts Association, Inc. (FLWAA) and Tomoka State Park are proud to partner a 4th year to bring you some art fun and learning in this beautiful and inspiring park. Bring your inner artist for a day of art teachings at the spacious and climate-controlled, Tomoka State Park Recreation Hall. Join us on Saturday, January 13th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a day of interactive artists' demonstrations and participants' creations. Learn how to make Zentangle inspired drawings, a color wheel, leaf print cards, paper affirmation beads, and draw a portrait. Each hour, an artist will show you how to make a different work of art that you can take home. Demonstrations run every hour from 10:00am through 2:00pm and will have a different FLWAA artist instructor. (10:00 a.m.-Terri Malloy-Zentangle Inspired Art, 11:00 a.m.-Pamela Bleakney-Color Wheel, Noon-Carol Thornton-Leaf Print Cards, 1:00 p.m.-Marianne Verna-Paper Affirmation Beads, and finally 2:00 p.m.-Marilyn Masters-Basic Portraiture. The purpose of the Florida Women's Arts Association Inc. (FLWAA) is to bring recognition to the achievements of Florida women artists by exhibiting and supporting art by women and by educating the public about their accomplishments.
