Night Sky Viewing Party at MOAS and ERAU

Join MOAS and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on January 27 as we celebrate the wonders of astronomy and the nightsky for Florida’s most exciting star party.

MOAS [6:30 - 10:00PM] - The winter sky is in full view as we observe the crescent Moon, #Venus, #Jupiter, #Pleiades, the #OrionNebula, and much more. Enjoy live outdoor sky tours, astronomy programs in the Lohman Planetarium, and hands-on activities around the Museum. MOAS Location: 352 S Nova Rd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 - Front Entrance Courtyard. Parking is limited. Planetarium shows have limited seating and are first-come, first-served. The outdoor portion is free to the public and is weather permitting:

The Planetarium shows are free for members, $5.00 for non-members and free for children 5 and under.

ERAU - Astronomy Talk at 7:00PM. Astronomy Open House: [8:00 - 11:00PM] - Join Embry-Riddle Observatories for telescope tours, astronomy presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and have the opportunity to see the largest publicly accessible telescope in the southeastern United States. ERAU Location: 1 Aerospace Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114 - COAS Building 1st, 2nd, & 5th floors; Connolly Quad. For more Info: https://observatory.db.erau.edu.
